Day 1: Arrival in Slovenia
Arrival in Slovenia

Arrival in Ljubljana airport, Slovenia’s beautiful capital. Pickup and transfer to the hotel and spend the day exploring the charming old town by Ljubljanica river with its famous bridges and rich medieval architecture.

Day 2: The Underworld

The Underworld

Today we embark on a unique adventure in the sunken mines of Mezica in northern Slovenia. Our adventure begins by boarding a genuine mining train through the 3.5km long Gačnik tunnel and up to Unionskivpadnik slope mine. From here we descend for 95m until we reach the water. At this point, we will receive the necessary equipment then enter a flooded shaft where kayaks will be waiting for us. We will start to paddle along a small underground river until we reach the magical underground lakes almost 700m below the surface afterwards we will continue to explore this underground labyrinth with submerged tunnels and excavation sites then we follow a narrow passage, paddle through some minor rapids until we make it back to the starting point. Afterwards we will drive to Jezersko lake from some relaxing time then continue to our accommodation.

Day 3: Triglav National Park

Triglav National Park

After Breakfast we will drive into the Julian Alps, Slovenia’s section of the Alps mountain range. Stop at stunning Lake Bled then hike to a breathtaking viewpoint over the lake, afterwards drive into Triglav National Park, Slovenia’s only national park visit Bohinj Lake, the largest lake in Slovenia then take a scenic cable car ride to the top of Mount Vogel for amazing panoramic views over Lake Bohinj and Triglav National park and spend the night on the top in a Mountain Hut.

Day 4: The Triple Border

The Triple Border

Breakfast, take the cable car to the bottom of the mountain then drive to the small town of Kranjska Gora and hike to Tromeja aka ‘Triple Border’ at which the boundaries of Slovenia, Italy and Austria meet, enjoy the amazing views from the top then make our way back to the car have lunch in town, visit Jasna Lakes then drive through a scenic mountain pass to Soca valley and the beautiful alpine town of Bovec.

Day 5: Alpine Adventure

Alpine Adventure

Being the adventure hub of Slovenia, Bovec offers endless amount of adventurous activities in the Julian Alps. After breakfast we will drive to Slovenia’s biggest Zipline park for an adrenaline-packed Ziplining adventure across the Alps. Afterwards we will drive across a beautiful mountain pass to visit the stunning Lake Predil for a quick swim then drive back to Ljubljana.

Day 6: Into Montenegro

Into Montenegro

Today we move to our next destination on our adventure in the Balkans. First we drive to Ljubljana airport to catch our flight to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. Pickup then transfer to Durmitor National park, home of Tara Canyon, Europe’s deepest canyon. We will go for short hikes to explore the most breathtaking viewpoints over the canyon.

Day 7: Durmitor National Park

Durmitor National Park

Breakfast then continue to explore Durmitor National Park but from a different perspective as we go for an exciting white water rafting adventure along the rapids of Tara river. Afterwards we will drive across the mountains of Montenegro to the medieval town of Kotor by the Adriatic Sea.

Day 8: Kotor Bay

Kotor Bay

Breakfast then hop on a speed boat to explore the amazing beaches and caves of Kotor Bay. First we stop at ‘Our Lady of the Rocks’ island to visit its small church then continue sailing to the Blue Cave, a natural hall with 9m high vault where we can jump for a swim in its crystal-clear waters then we will make a stop at one of the beaches where we can relax by the Adriatic then sail back to town. Lunch in town then we can opt to hike to the top of the fortress for an amazing view over Kotor bay and the old town which is considered to be one of the best-preserved medieval walled towns in the entire Mediterranean then drive north along the Adriatic to Dubrovnik in Croatia aka the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’

Day 9: Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is considered to be one the most beautiful towns in the world. Its well-preserved old town is stuffed with many historic features such as ancient city walls, cobblestone streets, magnificent palaces and stunning churches. We will spend the day exploring the old town or opt for one of the beaches on the Adriatic coast.

Day 10: Bosnia & Herzegovina

Bosnia & Herzegovina

Breakfast then drive into Bosnia & Herzegovina to visit Mostar, the cultural and economic center of the country. The town is over five centuries old and situated between high mountains divided by the Neretva River. The Old Bridge of Mostar (Stari Most) is one of the top highlights of our tour, which was originally built in 1566 during the rule of the Ottoman Empire, destroyed during the war in 1993 but rebuilt in 2004 in its original form, the Old Bridge is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon we will drive to the stunning Kravice waterfalls on the Trebizat river for a refreshing swim then drive back into Croatia to Split for overnight.

Day 11: Split & Hvar

Split & Hvar

Today we get to explore the beautiful Adriatic town of Split on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. First we can explore Diocletian’s Palace the historic center of the town then sail to the beautiful island of Hvar and explore it’s pretty old town then go for a short hike to Hvar fortress for an amazing panoramic view over the island and the Adriatic. Afterwards we can relax by one of Hvar’s beautiful beaches then sail back to Split.

Day 12: From Dalmatia to Plitvice

From Dalmatia to Plitvice

Continue our adventure in the Balkans by driving north across the dalmatian region and into the green mountains of Plitvice region. Drive to a charming forest village where we can relax by Korana river and opt for a swim in its crystal clear waters.

Day 13: Plitvice Lakes National Park

Plitvice Lakes National Park

Breakfast then drive to the entrance of Plitivce Lakes National park, get our tickets then spend the day hiking along the wooden paths and bridges around Plitvice Lakes, Croatia’s most beautiful national park. We will pass by exquisite series of 16 emerald green and opal blue travertine lakes, more than 90 waterfalls and numerous caves. Later in the afternoon we will drive to Plitvice village for the most breathtaking view over the national park then drive to Zagreb where our adventure concludes at the capital of Croatia.

Say our farewells to our epic journey and transfer to Zagreb airport for final departure
