Itinerary & Trip Details

Day 1: Arrival in Andalusia
Arrival in Andalusia

Arrival in Seville airport. Pickup and transfer to our hotel. Spend the day exploring the capital of Andalusia.

Day 2: Sierra Nevada

Sierra Nevada

Today we make our way to the beautiful city of Granada at the foothills of Sierra Nevada mountain range. First we head to the mountains for a 4WD adventure in Sierra Nevada National Park with the most spectacular views of snow-capped peaks, mountain villages and amazing viewpoints over the city. Afterwards we will head to Albaicin, the medieval moorish quarter of Granada then spend the rest of the day exploring the city of Granada. Afterwards we will drive back to Seville.

Day 3: From Andalusia to Algarve

From Andalusia to Algarve

Breakfast then drive to the town of Sanlucar de Guadiana where we we will cross into Portugal on the only cross-border zipline in the world. We will cross over the River Guadiana from the region of Andalusia in Spain to the region of Algarve in Portugal along the 720m joining the two countries at speeds between 70 and 80 km/hr, literally flying through time and gaining one hour because of the time zone change between both countries. Afterwards our vans will meet us in Alcoutim in Portugal then continue our drive to Lagos.

Day 4: Cliffs, Caves & Beaches

Cliffs, Caves & Beaches

Along the fascinating coastline of western Algarve, the Ponta da Piedade is considered as the finest natural feature in the region, with the cliffs of the headland carved into rock pillars, natural tunnels and hidden grottos. These golden sandstone cliffs stand at stark contrast to the deep turquoises and greens of the sea waters which makes it a place like no other. After we explore this amazing place we will drive to Carvoeiro town to explore more stunning rock formations and sea caves but from the Ocean this time as we go on a boat tour to the amazing Benagil cave beach for a swim and relax in another stunning beach in Algarve region.

Day 5: The End of the World

The End of the World

Early breakfast then drive to Sagres to visit Cape St. Vincent, the southwesternmost tip of Europe which is also known as ‘The End of the World’ as here is where Portuguese explorers set sail into the unknown during the age of discovery. Afterwards we will drive to Lisbon.

Day 6: Lisbon


Free day to explore the capital city of Portugal or opt to visit the beautiful town of Sintra at the foothills of Sintra mountains.

Day 7: The Azores

The Azores

Today we begin another chapter of our adventure as we fly to Ponta Delgada, the capital of Sao Miguel island, the largest island in the Azores archipelago. Pickup from the airport, transfer to the hotel and spend the day exploring the surroundings or go for a walk to the Marina and Portas do Mar to enjoy its famous restaurants and bars.

Day 8: The Lagoon of Fire

The Lagoon of Fire

Our adventure on the Azores starts by hiking to the island’s most beautiful lake known as the Lagoa do Fogo or the Lagoon of Fire. It’s a crater lake at the center of Sao Miguel Island and it occupies the bottom of a collapsed caldera. The lake is surrounded by lush vegetation which makes this hike one of the most scenic on the Azores and whole of Europe. After the hike, we will stop at the Caldeira Velha waterfall, located on the northern slope of the Fogo Volcano then drive back to our hotel.

Day 9: Azorean Adventure

Azorean Adventure

Our epic adventure continues in the Azores as we take on another adventurous activity on these magical islands. First, we will hike up into the forests of Sao Miguel then start our Canyoning adventure into the lush environment as we jump, slide, swim and abseil along the stream that flows from the mountain top, completely surrounded by endemic forest. Lunch break then drive to Terra Nostra gardens in Furnas for a well-deserved bath in its famous hot spring.

Day 10: The Twin Lakes

The Twin Lakes

Sao Miguel island is also known as ‘The Green Island’ which is no surprise for the outstanding beauty of this island waiting to be explored. After our breakfast, we will drive to explore the west part of the island and the stunning Lagoa das Sete Cidades or the Lagoon of the seven cities. It’s a beautiful twin lake situated in the crater of a dormant volcano with a legendary story. After the hike, we will drive along the south coast and stop at Ponta da Ferraria for a swim in a beautiful ocean bathing area, where the salt water is heated inside a volcanic fissure.

Day 11: In Search of Whales

In Search of Whales

Today we sail into the Atlantic in search for the Ocean giants. First, we will have a briefing session to explain which cetacean species can be observed, safety measures aboard, how we respect marine life and rules of observation at sea as well as some historical facts. We will have the opportunity to see whales, dolphins, turtles and other marine life. Afterwards we will stop at Vila Franca do Campo for Lunch then we board a smaller boat and head to Vila Franca do Campo islet, a volcanic crater off the coast that encloses a natural lagoon where we can swim and relax by the Ocean.

Day 12: Departure


Breakfast then transfer to the airport for final departure.
